Outgoing psychology major who loves walking around campus with her dog!

Hi! I am Ashley, a second-year Psychology major with minors in Non-Profit Organizational Leadership and Event Management. UF has been my dream school since I was 7 years old, when I started researching colleges. I was so excited to go to college and become a vet; little did I know that would completely change. When I came into UF, I was on the pre-law track and thought that this would satisfy my passions. Throughout last year, I quickly learned that this was not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life; instead, I hope to create a non-profit that provides free therapy to those in need. While this change caused me stress, it allowed me to explore various avenues and build my character. Between my club involvements and internship this year, I am remaining busy and balancing my school life with my social life. I love living with my 3 roommates and taking my childhood dog on walks around campus. I would love to show you around campus and answer any questions that you have about campus and off-campus life.

Describe your college experience

So far I have liked my experience at UF. I like most of the classes I have taken and had good schedules each semester. I am currently involved in two clubs on campus and plan to rush in the Spring. I have struggled with the transition at times, but overall this experience has been life-changing and allowed me to learn things about myself that I never knew.

Tip for future students

Don't come in with any expectations and allow yourself to be flexible as you will inevitably undergo change.

Favorite class

Applied Principles of Behavior Analysis. As a psych major this was extremely interesting to learn about and Professor Kronfli is an amazing professor.

My ideal way to spend a free night would be door dashing dinner, playing games, and watching reality tv with my roommates.
