Describe your college experience

I got off my mission and started school two days later. It was a rough transition at first, but BYU offers so much extra help for their students. The Univ 101 class was a big help to me to make friends and not feel alone at such a big university! You will meet other freshman and you will get to explore campus as part of your grade! For me, meeting new people definitely helped me balance social life and academics.

Tip for future students

Academics is about balance. If all you do is study, that is not success. You need to have a balance between academic and social life. The more you meet new people and get involved in campus life, the more happy you will be and you will enjoy school as a whole!

Favorite class

WRTG 150, the class is a lot more interaction than my other classes. There is a lot of discussion and work between students that most of my other classes don’t offer during lectures. My fiancée is also in that class.

Career goals

Become a PA of exercise science.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I like to unwind during the night. I will set out all my stuff for the next day and after that I love to unwind by watching YouTube and reading before bed. Right now I love watching football that it is on!

The field house. I love working out and going to the gym after a long day of studying is an amazing way to unwind and get rid of the normal anxieties that come with college!
