Easygoing construction student who enjoys helping people feel welcome
Hi! I’m Sebastian, a Construction Management student at BYU. I enjoy meeting new people, helping others feel comfortable, and showing people what makes a place unique. During my construction internships, I also had opportunities to give site tours and explain projects to visitors, which helped me get comfortable speaking to groups and answering questions. Outside of class, Im playing soccer, playing music, or spending time with friends. I’d love to help prospective students and families feel welcome and give them an enjoyable, informative look at campus life.

Describe your college experience
BYU has all the resources you need and for the price of tuition we pay its a huge benefit. Theres always someone to help if you ask and look for it. BYU has no shortage of resources and desire to help you.
Tip for future students
Take advantage of the resources and help available to you at BYU. Be kind and warm to other students, there are a lot of students who are far from home or from another country and feel alone. Get involved in some random things you've never tried, for me it was the mariachi band which ended up being one of the greatest things i've done.
Favorite class
Computational Methods because I enjoy learning about how to use Microsoft Excel to build spreadsheets and data.
Career goals
I want to be a project engineer for a General Contractor and work my way to becoming a project manager/executive one day. I want to start with a company where I can learn in depth about Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing operations for commercial construction.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I want to go do something with close friends. It could be anything from going to a party to watching a movie or kicking a soccer ball or going to explore the canyons. As long as its with people I like to be with Im aways down to get out of the apartment.
High school or secondary school
Woodmont High School
Previous college
Ensign College
Favorite spot on campus
The B66 building where all the construction management students have classes because its basic but unique and not many people know about it. And there is a culture in our major of joking how no one knows what this building is except for construction management students since we have classes there lol.
Meeting point
