Describe your college experience

So far I've had a pretty good college experience. I started as Freshman in Plant Science, then changed my major to Sustainable Food Systems. I've found I thoroughly enjoy my major and the courses that go along with it.

Tip for future students

I wish I had done more research on the courses required for my intended major. I also wish I had done more research on the Universities study abroad programs.

Favorite class

My favorite class so far has been my hydroponic production class. It was very hands on as we grew our own vegetables and herbs. We also were able to harvest, eat and share our crops.

Career goals

I hope to work in Agriculture in the realm of sustainability.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love going out with friends or staying in! I'm usually very go with flow and open to spend my night however.

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite place on campus is the botanical gardens. I love walking, working, and studying throughout the gardens. It brings nature to campus and the flower displays throughout the year are quite stunning.
