Describe your college experience

While I was nervous about my transition at first, Rutgers made it easy to meet new people and join organizations that interest you. The professors are all great and want you to succeed and there is an enormous range of opportunities for students to pursue. The party scene can vary from the typical liveliness of college parties to basement jazz shows and the bars make hanging out with your peers and professors extremely easy and fun.

Tip for future students

Try everything and it's much easier to say you don't like something after you do it.

Favorite class

My favorite class was German Comparative Literature which I took as a Sophomore. My friend and I took the class to try something different while meeting a requirement and upon finding out the class was about 10 people with the professor visiting from the Humboldt University, Berlin, we were skeptical. But it ended up being a super fun and interactive class where each class ended up sharing views from a diverse set of backgrounds.

Career goals

Start a career and travel around the world

Ideal way to spend a free night

Two ends of the spectrum with one being a quiet movie night and the other playing a sport and then unwinding at the bar.

High school or secondary school

Morristown High School

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot on campus is the Cook Cafe. While I've lived on the busy streets of College Ave for the last three years, as a Freshman on Cook Campus, I found the cafe to be a great quiet spot. You can pick up some snacks or a meal, do some work, or relax after going to the Cook Rec Center right across the street.
