Hello! My name is Malikia and I am a Marine Coastal Environment Science Major at Coastal. I am an avid chatter, question answerer, and fun maker. There's nothing I enjoy more than connecting with people. I am very outgoing and would love to introduce you to our wonderful campus and teach you about all the awesome traditions Coastal has. Describe your college experience

Coastal has been a very welcoming and exciting environment. There's never a lack of things to do, or lack of support academically. Still, like any school, getting comfortable has been a learning curve.

Tip for future students

Don't be afraid to ask for help. There's so many people on campus that want you to succeed, you only need to ask.

Biology 2. The concepts we discuss, especially in lab, are so interesting.

Career goals

I hope I can go into a career in environmental consulting and conservation in my community.

My favorite way to spend a night is with my roommates chatting or doing something fun like karaoke.
