Hi my name is Ella and I am a freshman studying Biology, Pre-Med. I live in Washington, but I grew up in southern Idaho. I love to spend time with friends and family, be outdoors, and go on vacation. I am currently on my second semester at byu and have loved my time here. All of my classes have made such a great impact on me and have brought me such great knowledge. I am so excited to be here and hope to meet so many more people!

It has been so fun to learn with great professors. I feel I have made so many more friends in college and have learned a lot more on how to be successful.

Tip for future students

Make sure to create the right balance between social, educational, and spiritual life. When they're imbalanced, you will notice a difference and it is so amazing when they are all lined up. For me, having this equal balance helped me to focus better and to stay on track.

Favorite class

My favorite class was during high school when I got to be a TA in the special education classroom. I got to help the students to learn social skills and it was so fun. This class also inspired my future career choices.

Career goals

I hope to go to medical school to gain a PhD so I can be a developmental pediatrician.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love to go out and do something with my friends, like a hike, swing dancing, silent discos, or even just going to get food.
