Hi! I am McKay. This is my first year at BYU in person, but I have loved it so far. I am loving all the opportunites that I have to meet new people and build new relationships. I am studing Psychology and would like to go to medical school after my undergrad. Going to BYU has been a lifelong dream that I get to live every day now! GO COUGS!!

Describe your college experience

I have loved the campus experience so far! There is so much to do and so many opportunities to take advantage of! Being far away from home has been much easier because of the connections that I am building.

Tip for future students

I would stress how helpful the resources are on campus. There are so many clubs and games to be a part of; there's always an advisor who is ready to help, and the TAs and Professors are there to help you succeed.

Favorite class

Multicultural Psychology, I have really enjoyed learning about other cultures, but more importantly how to have an open mind when learning about other people, and how to engage in constructive conversations.

Career goals

I would like to go to medical school and become a Pediatric Cardiologist.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love getting together with friends, playing games, watching a movie, and eating popcorn.

Favorite spot on campus

I love the Museum of Art. It is very peacful and inspiring to see the amazing works of art that are here at BYU. It is an awesome place to study and just enjoy the afternoon.
