Well-rounded Neuroscience major who can advise on a start that opens doors.
Hi, I'm Brayden! I'm on the pre-med track, and spend about two-thirds of my time studying in various special places on campus (I'll show you) and the rest of my time I spend ice skating, rollerblading, swing dancing, and hitting up the BYU creamery. Feel free to ask me whatever questions you have and I'll show you the ropes!

Clubs, organizations & involvement
I've been involved in my Family Home Evening group: yesterday we met and made paper cranes for people with recent diagnosis as a service project. I also have enjoyed campus dances and just joined a swing dance club so that I can learn more moves.

Describe your college experience
As I've started at college, its been so fun to meet so many new people from various places with various destinations. I already had study habits, so the transition into coursework was smooth, but I have visited the TA lab to help me understand some harder concepts. All in all I love learning, and especially now that I can go into depth on the subject that I love.
Tip for future students
I wish I knew of the BYU jobs page earlier. There are tons of on campus jobs that cone with benefits and very flexible hours.
Favorite class
My favorite class other than ice skating (which is so fun!) is chemistry because we get to participate in hands on labs in addition to lecture and study, and the professors each of a joinable research lab, although Im still in the application process.
Career goals
I hope to attend graduate school and go into psychiatry! Although I have time to decide, BYU will soon open its own medical school so I will have that option by the time I need to apply.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Go to any activity and just talk to someone new. Its really easy to make new friends so even those on the more introverted side of the scale can find a close circle of friends anywhere they go.
High school or secondary school
Mountain View High School
Favorite spot on campus
My personal favorite spot on campus is inside the Life Sciences Building, the surrounding gardens are beautiful and there are some study spots by high windows that look over the view. Its easy to focus there and is immersive to the very topic I am studying.
Meeting point
Joseph F. Smith Building Courtyard on the Brigham Young University campus
