Outgoing Economics Major who loves anything and everything to do with sports.

Hey guys! My name is Drew, and I'm an Economics major studying at the most blessed campus on the planet! I love anything and everything to do with sports. I moved here knowing nobody, and somehow, I feel like I now know everybody. BYU is truly my second home, and I feel like each and every day I'm learning something new about our beautiful campus. From the incredible facilities to our amazing sports programs, there is always something exciting happening around campus. Whether you're here for the academics, the athletics, the people, or just to experience what makes BYU so special, there is something here for everyone. As a student, I've gotten to experience BYU from a completely different perspective, and I love getting to share that experience with other people. I can't wait to show you around and hopefully help you fall in love with BYU just as much as I have!

Describe your college experience

I absolutely love BYU and the community that I am now apart of. BYU helped me find people just like me and truly helped me feel grounded and grow a testimony within the church. Without BYU, I don't know where I would be today.

Tip for future students

I would say your best advice is to meet as many new people as possible. Everyone here is so nice and welcoming and the more connections you make truly make you feel more grounded and apart of the community here.

Favorite class

Econ 110 has truly been my favorite as it helped me better understand how my interests and academic goals should correlate with one another. This class helped me realize that I needed to switch majors immediately and pursue a major in Economics while emphasizing law.

Career goals

I would love to attend BYU Law and absolutely love the Law building here on campus. My ultimate goal is to graduate from any law school and allow my father to retire so I can pick up with his business (he's currently an attorney who owns his own practice).

Ideal way to spend a free night

Going out to a BYU sporting event with friends followed by a late night dinner at Denny's or IHOP.

High school or secondary school

Hart High School

Favorite spot on campus

I really enjoy the Tanner building and Library as I love all the various studying spots on campus. My favorite thing to do is find a new spot on campus to study, including inside and outside.

Meeting point

Joseph F. Smith Building Courtyard on the Brigham Young University campus
