Friendly Biochem Major who loves meeting new people

My name is Lake. I'm currently doing premed biochemistry, and I am loving my time here at BYU. I am originally from Georgia and moved here last summer after finishing my mission in Busan, South Korea. I played tennis growing up and also enjoy SCUBA diving and boating when I have the chance. Not a lot of chances during the semester unfortunately. I had a few friends when I moved here, but I have made so many new ones, so don't worry if you're also moving cross-country or you're the first in your family to go to college. I also volunteer teaching English as a second language through BYU's Y-Serve. There's lots to see and even more to do on campus. Enter to learn, go forth to serve.

Describe your college experience

I've been loving college, being around so many people in my same stage of life and getting to know all my classmates and professors has been a great experience.

Tip for future students

I would say to not worry about it too much. Just make sure that you show up and do the things that you're supposed to be doing.
