Friendly business major wrapping up my last year at BYU! Go Cougs!!

Hello! My name is Nathan and I’m a senior in BYU Marriott School of Business Global Supply Chain Management program! I’ve taken classes ranging from classic college courses to one that are hidden gems! I love finding little hidden things on campus (like the pong machine in the library basement) and I think BYU is one of the greatest places to be. If you aren’t sure whether or not BYU is for you, I’d love to help you figure that out and show you around. I’ve lived both on and off campus, and I love to commute on foot or by bike, so I know how to get around Provo as a college student as well!

Describe your college experience

College has been super smooth for me. I got good roommates that I’ve been friends with since day one, I’ve had a lot of fun picking and attending classes, and my experience has been uplifting as well as enlightening.

Tip for future students

Don’t feel like once you pick a major you’re locked into it. I changed my major a total of 3 times before learning what I wanted. It’s important to take a variety of general classes and talk with different adult professionals to find out what you want to study. Additionally, make sure you do your own research!

Favorite class

The Golden Age of Greece. I took it for a GE and the professor was so perfectly engaging, passionate, and nerdy in a cool way I couldn’t help but love his class!

Career goals

I want to work in Supply Chain Consulting.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Either with friends, out on a bike ride, or enjoying some me time.

High school or secondary school

Stuttgart High School

Favorite spot on campus

The Tanner Building. There’s so much natural light and the building just feels busy and productive.

Meeting point

Joseph F. Smith Building Courtyard on the Brigham Young University campus
