Experienced Politics major who has seen it all on campus and gets real with it.
Hello! My name is Amanda, and as a current senior at Princeton, the range of experiences I've witnessed have made a lifetime of unforgettable memories. Whether through my friends or my own life stories, I hope to fill in any gaps you may have about Princeton! If I'm not at Dillon Gym working out with friends or playing pool at the Quadrangle Club, I'm probably busy keeping up with my senior thesis for the Politics department. Bouncing from cafes to libraries, no corner on campus has escaped my sights. If you're looking for an honest review of campus life and scenery, then I'm your guide!

Describe your college experience
As a First-Generation Low-Income student, joining Princeton as a freshman was a massive jump from my small town in WV. It was intimidating at first, but through support from the school, I was able to find my home on campus and my community.
Tip for future students
Comparison is the thief of joy, so don't focus on what others are achieving. We often overestimate what we can do in one month but underestimate what we could do in 5 years. Focus on yourself.
Favorite class
My favorite class was my "Fascism as a Culture" class! It covered the wide range of arts that were affected by the Nazi regime taking over in Italy and Germany, and how they can be spotted again in modern politics.
Career goals
I hope to work as a Judge and be involved within the Supreme Court in DC as a future clerk.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend the night after a long day of classes and meetings is to play a couple of rounds of pool at Quad with friends and with my favorite records on.
High school or secondary school
Musselman High School
Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is The Quadrangle Club, which is one of 11 eating clubs. Eating clubs are unique and exclusive to Princetons campus, serving as one of the main pillars of social life on campus. I love Quad because it's a home away from home; with its pool room and lounge spots, it's a good break from the usual libraries.
Meeting point
