Bubbly premed who knows all the best spots on campus!

Hey there! My name's Amalia, and I'm a premed Molecular Biology major with a minor in Latino Studies. I'm a senior (can't believe it!), so I know my way around, and can tell you all about our various programs offered at Princeton. I've been involved in research since the beginning of my sophomore year, as well as many different clubs and organizations, and can tell you all about campus culture and opportunities. I've also given lots of tours before, both in person and virtual, and do lots of advising so I'd love to answer any and all of your questions! Some of my favorite things to do on campus are hang out at Murray Dodge, the free campus cafe which always has the best cookies, and listen to our classic acapella shows in one of the schools iconic archways. Feel free to come with any and all questions, and can't wait to meet you!

Describe your college experience

The transition from public/charter school was difficult, particularly as it was a 2200 mile move, but the support at Princeton was always amazing. The academics are challenging but the opportunities are endless. I've had such an amazing time here and can't wait to enjoy my senior year!

Tip for future students

Go to office hours and form relationships with professors. It will help you learn more, they are amazing mentors, and it's great for letters of recommendation down the line!
