Describe your college experience
As a graduate student, the transition is more like adjusting to a new city and living in a city after living in a small town.
Tip for future students
Walk everywhere! It’s how you leave your way around and always find a new place and cafe to try.
Favorite class
N5011: Ways of knowing nursing practice, Health Assessment. We learned how to give a patient a physical assessment. The best part was my sim instructor Marlene. She’s the most down to earth professor who took a class with more material I’d ever encountered in such a short time span seem manageable. She taught me how to assess a patient in a week. Something that took the BSN students a full semester.
Career goals
I hope to come back to Penn for my MSN in Adult Acute Care
Ideal way to spend a free night
Food trucks! Watching the sunset over the river near the bridge on the Rittenhouse side.

Favorite spot on campus
Penn Park, looking out over the baseball field because you can see the city skyline.
