First year biomedical physiology student who has fallen in love with UGA
Hey y'all! My name is Abby and I am a current Biomedical Physiology student on the Pre-Pa track. UGA was not a part of my original plan, but I am so glad it ended up being the best part! In a short time, Athens has become my home. The traditions, the people, and all of the iconic Athens locations make this place feel even more like home! Typically you can find me in Snelling enjoying The Bowl station, enjoying the couches of the Tate Center, or dragging my friends on late night runs to Jeni's for ice cream. I genuinely love UGA from the strangers that have become friends to the bus routes that let you explore campus. I would absolutely love to show you the best parts of UGA, my favorite study spots, all the underrated restaurants, and convince you that UGA should be your forever home even if you have your doubts. Describe your college experience
My experience this far has been absolutely AMAZING. I was terrified to go to my second choice school at first, but even in the short time I've been here I wish this would have been my top choice. UGA is the best decision any upcoming freshman could make.
Tip for future students
Say yes to everything! Someone wants to go get a late night snack? Go with them. Someone asks you to sit with them in class? Say yes. Someone wants to have a movie night? Duh, movies are the best. Saying yes is the best way to have the best experiences! You'll end up with the adventures of a lifetime.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been Political Science because of the opportunity to learn more about how the government works and how it applies to me.
Career goals
After college I plan to attend Physician Assistant School and specialize in Pediatrics.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend my free night is getting ice cream at Jeni's and binge watching The Traitors.
