Bubbly PHSC major looking to spread information and joy to campus :)

Hi! I'm Fatima, a North African first gen student! I'm currently a Public Health Science sophomore who moved across the country from the midwest pulling tons...and tons of strings to be in beautiful Maryland and UMD! I came into this state knowing no one and nothing and now have a beautiful home on campus. I'm quite easy to find either in SORC or in whatever dining hall has the best food for the day. I have so much love for the campus that I'm more than excited to show you (and maybe your loved ones :)) why I would make all the right and wrong choices again if it meant being pointed back to here. Ready for your questions and coming with all the knowledge! !!

Describe your college experience

I'm an out of state student who knew I loved Maryland and wanted to go here for years. I pulled a lot of strings to be here and loved every second of effort and sacrifice made!

Tip for future students

Use fall as time to adjust, that doesn't mean don't take it seriously but be practical and use Spring to have and know your game plan

Favorite class

I loved global anthropology that I had taken Fall semester! It was very interesting and we went though all types of medieval to modern diseases and everything in regards to almost hundreds of countries and cities.

Career goals

A career in the medical field such as an Anestologist!

Ideal way to spend a free night

Hmmmm it depends on what mood I'm feeling. If I want a productive free night I'll take a long everything shower and sit scrolling on pinterest with a comfort anime on doing homework likely on the phone with my twin sister! If I'm looking for more a wild night I'll go out maybe to looneys with some friends

High school or secondary school

DSST Conservatory Green

Favorite spot on campus

This hidden bench leading to south somewhat behind the library its hard to describe easier to show :)
