Outgoing Pre-Law student dedicated to academic success and student wellness
I’m an outgoing Pre-Law student at UC San Diego with a passion for law, athletics, mentorship, and community service. Through my experiences as a tennis coach, mentor, student leader, and Armenian cultural educator, I have developed strong communication and leadership skills while learning the importance of building meaningful connections. I enjoy meeting new people, sharing my experiences, and helping others feel welcomed and included. I am excited to introduce you to the opportunities, community, and student experience that make UC San Diego special.

Describe your college experience
My transition from Glendale Community College to UC San Diego has been extremely smooth. UCSD has provided extensive opportunities and help centers to make the transition easy. La Jolla is a beautiful city, there is so much to explore, for any type of person. There is an abundance of hiking trails, beaches, and cool coffee shops in La Jolla Cove and Shore.
Tip for future students
For future students, transfers or not, here are some words of advice I would give: 1. Learn time management- everyone has the same 24 hours in a day 2. Attend office hours frequently and make sure professors know who you are (very important in classes where there are 200+ students) 3. As a student, it's extremely important to have a balance; a balance of studying, having fun, exercising, etc.
Favorite class
My favorite class that I have taken at UC San Diego has been a Legal Reasoning class, where I learned how lawyers read, analyze, and write about the law. I learned to interpret statutes and cases, identify legal issues, apply laws to facts of a case, and use IRAC format to organize clear legal analysis. I also developed basic legal-research skills and learned how to synthesize, distinguish, and analogize cases.
Career goals
I plan to attend law school and become a Corporate Attorney (Mergers & Acquisitions).
Ideal way to spend a free night
Ideally, my night would start off with a sunset run on the beach at Gliders Point. After I go home and refresh, I would go to Coronado Island with my friends. I love the views of downtown San Diego, and don't get me started on the endless options of restaurants and amazing ice cream spots.

Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is Sun God Lawn, especially in the fall. It's it's own community, students connect by throwing around the frisbee or relaxing on the grass reading a book or just simply talking. It brings together students.
