Explore GW & DC with a Student Who Knows Both Campuses
Hi! I’m Zara, a sophomore at George Washington University studying Psychological and Brain Sciences with a minor in Fine Arts. I’m part of GW’s Women’s Leadership Program (WLP), and I spent my entire first year living on the Mount Vernon Campus, so I know the Vern as well as the Foggy Bottom side of GW. I love meeting new people and would be happy to show you around, share what student life is actually like, and help you get a feel for GW and DC from a student’s perspective.

Describe your college experience
The first year was rough but it was me adjusting to taking care of myself and learnt so much especially to ask for help when needed there are so many people at GW looking support students in need
Tip for future students
Adjusting is okay. Do not be hard on yourself and ask for help when you need it

WLP symposium. Only people in the WLP have access to it but it was such a great resource I learned career development skills and great personal values.
