For me the imposter syndrome shook my confidence at first but soon after my love for learning reminded me of why I deserved to be there.

Learn how your brain works and for anyone who is first gen remember that you can't be behind if you're the first one doing it.

Favorite class

AWP 10 was the summer course at UCSD that changed the way that i viewed education not only did I learn about the course but learned about myself and how the education system shaped me. AWP was the first educational environment that asked me and allowed me to speak about myself and for that I will forever be grateful.

The grass patch next to Bearlo at midnight. Bearlo (20 foot stone bear) is one of UCSD many mascots next to him is a peaceful grass patch, at midnight Bearlo's grass patch is empty and im usually the only one there it makes me feel like he's watching over me and my adventure.
