UCSD student, lifelong dancer & future lawyer who loves a good adventure.
Hi! I’m Anna :) I’m a student at UC San Diego studying Real Estate & Development, and I hope to go to law school after I graduate. I’ve been dancing for basically my entire life, so you can usually find me dancing somewhere, making a new playlist, or convincing my friends to go out and do something fun. I love meeting new people, exploring San Diego, trying new restaurants and coffee spots, and spending way too much time in the sun. I’m also really involved on campus and love being part of communities where I can meet people with different backgrounds and interests. I’m ambitious when it comes to school and my future, but I also really value having fun, being spontaneous, and making good memories with the people around me!

Clubs, organizations & involvement
I have been involved with Sigma Kappa Sorority, the Armenian Students’ Association, and the Armenian Pre-Law Society at UC San Diego. Through these organizations, I have been able to build a strong sense of community, connect with students who share my cultural and professional interests, participate in campus events, and become more involved in university life.

Describe your college experience
My transition to college has been both exciting and transformative. Moving away from home taught me to become more independent, manage my time, and balance academics with my personal and social life. UC San Diego has also given me the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds, explore my interests, and become more involved on campus. So far, my college experience has helped me grow academically and personally, and I am excited to continue making the most of the opportunities available to me.
Tip for future students
My biggest tip for future students is to get involved and take advantage of opportunities from the very beginning. College goes by quickly, so don’t be afraid to join organizations, meet new people, attend events, and try things outside of your comfort zone. I also wish I had known that it’s okay not to have everything figured out right away, college is just as much about discovering what you enjoy as it is about academics.
Favorite class
Making of the Modern World 11- My favorite class has been MMW 11 because it challenged me to think critically about history, culture, and the development of different societies. I especially enjoyed learning how historical ideas and events continue to influence the world today. The course also strengthened my writing and analytical skills, which I know will be valuable throughout college and in my future career.
Career goals
After college, I hope to attend law school and pursue a career that combines my interests in law, real estate, and business. My long-term goal is to become an attorney working in real estate and business law, where I can use both my legal education and my background in real estate development to help clients navigate complex transactions and opportunities.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is going out to dinner with my friends, exploring San Diego, or having a relaxing night in watching a movie and catching up with the people I’m close to. I think having time to unwind and enjoy the people around me is the perfect balance to a busy week of classes.

Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is Marshall Lawn. I love going there to relax and soak up the San Diego sun with my friends. Sometimes, I also enjoy spending time there on my own, reading a book and taking a break from a busy day of classes. It is a simple place, but it has become one of the spots where I feel most relaxed and at home on campus.
