Describe your college experience

Returning to college as an adult student and Army veteran has been both challenging and rewarding. Balancing school, work, and family has taught me strong time management and discipline. At Northeastern, I’ve enjoyed learning from experienced professors, connecting with students from diverse backgrounds, and building skills that will help me pursue a career in finance. Every semester has helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Tip for future students

Don’t be afraid to ask questions and take advantage of the resources available to you. Get to know your professors, attend networking events, and start thinking about co-ops early. Stay organized, manage your time well, and remember that everyone has a different path. Whether you’re a traditional student or returning to school later in life, consistency and persistence will take you far.
