Describe your college experience

The transition into college for me was impressively smooth-sailing, I felt that as a person I was ready, and truly I was. I felt very few nerves going into college, especially being left on my first day, and the Drexel Campus truly made me feel comfortable within the first few weeks. I would say that the entire course of my year was generally smooth, with only a few hiccups with course of studies, and friends. Otherwise, it was great!

Tip for future students

My biggest tip, one that I know people hear a lot, but genuinely coming out of my freshman year, I wish I did more, was to just say yes! There are so many opportunities, so many moments, that you could partake in, if you just said yes. Now, it is important to do so within reasonable boundaries. But, if you're saying no just because you think you'll be tired the next day, or because you don't think that you'll enjoy it, say yes anyways! Most of the time, you will learn more from saying yes than will from saying no, even if it doesn't go how you anticipated.

Favorite class

My ultimate favorite class to take so far has been Architecture and Society, ironically the class that gave me the hardest time. I am not a huge history person, but after walking away from my freshman year and all three terms of Architecture and Society, I feel like I know more about the world, and more about the world that surrounds the career I dream to go into. It is the class that I have 100% learned the most in.

Career goals

After college, I hope to be working full-time in the architecture field, ideally designing! I am sure that I will be living near the Philly or NY area, also hoping to pursue a passion project of dancing.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal way to spend a free night will always be a cozy night inside, cuddled up with a comfort show, or a book! During most times of the year, I'll either have tea or hot chocolate in-hand. On the perfect night, I'd be doing those things with my friends :)

Favorite spot on campus

The garden area attached to the Rush building! During the warm spring days, I would go out here to work on drawing​/​art projects. You're incorporated in the bustling, lively, campus, but you are also isolated from the heavy foot traffics and surrounded by gorgeous greenery!
