Describe your college experience

Last year, I joined UD as the Class of 2029, and I've enjoyed that decision ever since. I met a lot of people that I consider really good friends, I've learned a lot about both myself and my future career, and I've been able to find part of my groove in the college. There's just something different about a physical campus college, and I really think UD's special in that way.

Tip for future students

Put yourself out there! College is anxiety-inducing but never be afraid to try something new or change!

Favorite class

GEOG235: Conservation of Natural Resources with Dr. Vaishnavi has been my absolute favorite so far. I believe everyone should take this course. The material is new and refreshing, the professor is knowledgeable, and the themes of the course are reflected in modern environment movements today.

Career goals

I hope to go into the field of Environmental Justice, though I'm not exactly sure where I want to be yet. I've enjoyed volunteering and outreach, so I hope that I can get a position with that.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Staying in with friends, watching a movie or just talking about whatever comes to mind.

Favorite spot on campus

Morris Library. It's relatively quiet as long as it's not finals week, and there's a lot of nooks that are nice for reading/writing.
