Friendly & Authentic UD Student Tour Guide | Major Cybersecurity
Hi! I’m Daniel, a UD student passionate about innovation, tech, and student life. I’ve experienced campus from both sides -commuting and living on campus(South Academy)- while getting involved in Horn Entrepreneurship (VentureOn), the Track Club, and intramural hoops. Through Horn, I even co-founded a sports recovery startup called RecoverMe! Whether you want an honest scoop on finding your path in University Studies, dorm life, or building projects on campus, I’m excited to show you around!

Describe your college experience
My transition to UD taught me how to navigate campus life from every angle. I spent my first semester commuting before moving into South Academy on campus, which gave me a full perspective on both lifestyles. Between launching a sports recovery startup through Horn Entrepreneurship, playing intramural hoops, and running live sound, my time here has been focused on building community and taking advantage of every opportunity UD offers.
Tip for future students
Stay on top of your coursework from day one. The material itself isn't impossible, but if you let it pile up and procrastinate, it will catch up to you fast. Spread the work out over time so you actually have time to enjoy campus life without the constant stress.
Favorite class
General Psychology. It offered incredible insights into human behavior and mindset, completely changing how I communicate with people, understand different perspectives, and approach problem-solving in everyday life.
Career goals
My main goal after college is to launch and scale my own successful tech business startups. I’m combining my coursework in tech and cybersecurity with the hands-on entrepreneurship experience I’m gaining at UD to build a strong foundation for long-term business success.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Either relaxing at home watching a great show with good company, or going out with friends around Main Street to socialize, catch up, and unwind after a busy week.
High school or secondary school
First State Military Academy
Favorite spot on campus
The Green or Perkins Student Center. The Green is the classic spot to hang out between classes when the weather is nice, while Perkins is my go-to hub for catching up with friends, grabbing food, and collaborating on startup projects.
Meeting point
Wings of Thought on the University of Delaware Campus
