Describe your college experience

I have had an amazing experience at UT. As an international student whose first language is Spanish, I had to adapt to a new language, culture, and college system. While it was challenging at first, the welcoming community and supportive professors helped me feel at home, and I wouldn't trade my experience for anything

Tip for future students

Get involved early. Join clubs, attend campus events, and don't be afraid to talk to your professors.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been General Chemistry because it challenged me to think critically and strengthened the foundation I need for my future career in healthcare. Even though it wasn't always easy, it was very rewarding and helped me grow academically.

Career goals

After college, I plan to attend dental school and become a dentist. My goal is to help people improve their oral health while making patients feel comfortable and confident during their visits.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal free night is grabbing dinner with friends, watching a movie, exploring Tampa, or relaxing with a good TV show after a busy week. I also enjoy going for walks along the Riverwalk when the weather is nice.

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot on campus is the Riverwalk by the Vaughn Center. It's one of the most beautiful places at UT, and I love studying there, taking walks with friends, or just relaxing and enjoying the waterfront views.
