Outdoorsy, sporty, funny, social butterfly, love to cook, beach native, respect

I'm from Manhattan Beach, California, so I grew up right by the beach and I'm still happiest when I'm outside. Here at CU that means hiking in the Flatirons or getting a pickup game going with whoever's around. I'm a junior at Leeds studying Finance, and this past summer I interned at Morgan Stanley out in Santa Monica. When I'm not doing school stuff I'm probably cooking something, watching sports, or just talking to whoever's nearby, I'm pretty much always up for meeting new people. Moving from California to Colorado was a big jump for me, but it ended up being one of the best decisions I've made, and I like getting to talk to people who are thinking about doing the same thing.

Describe your college experience

My college experience has been all time. I came in with no clue how Colorado as a whole would be, and it ended up being the best choice I've made to this day. I found great friends through similar passions to mine, going to the gym, being outside, tossing a football, and greek life. Additionally, I've found some of my new favorite restaurants and places to walk around on Pearl, and in north boulder. I've been to every home football game, and most of the basketball games. My experience has been unreal, and I cant wait for the next 2 years.

Tip for future students

Get out of your shell a little bit. Everybody gets homesick, and that was a big realization for me. Everyone is in the same boat at one point or another, so do your best to talk to as many people as you can, especially in your first weeks, months. Also, try everything. Sports games, greek like, clubs etc. Even if it isn't for you, you still have the chance to meet some great people from it.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been FNCE 2010, as well as Weather and Atmosphere. FNCE 2010, because I learned the most about excel, which has really leveled up my knowledge in the finance field. W&A because it was the most hands on and interactive class. The professor was engaged and made me really curios about the weather.

Career goals

I know I want to be in the finance realm, but I dont know 100% what avenue specifically. This summer I'm working at Morgan Stanley, with their wealth management team, so that's definitely something I would love to pursue. Commercial real estate also is something I would be very happy about pursuing.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal night would be 1 of 2 options. Both on either side of the "Social Spectrum" . The first would be going out with friends, whether that be having a big dinner, or having a party, or just a social get together. The other would be staying in and watching a great movie that dials me in the whole time. I love cooking a great dinner, and then watching a movie after.

High school or secondary school

I attended Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach from 2020 to 2024 where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.3 GPA.

Favorite spot on campus

The Buffalo Statue of Ralphie right outside Folsom Field!!

Meeting point

Dalton Trumbo Fountain Court on the University of Colorado Boulder Campus
