Describe your college experience

So far, Ive had a really smooth transition to college! Family-wise, I talked to them pretty much every day, so I never felt very homesick. School-wise, I love the freedom of being able to choose what I get to be passionate about and study. In high school, for me, putting energy and work into classes that didn't feel like anything I'd want to pursue was frustrating, so it's been refreshing getting to put all my time and energy into classes that I truly love. Friend-wise, I've always been more independent, so I love all the time that I get to interact and hangout with people, but it's also not a need. So college in that sense has also been very enjoyable for me, getting to choose when I want to be more social, and when I get to just have me time. Overall, it's been a great experience.

Tip for future students

Specifically for Boulder, I'd say get as involved as possible. Everyone is very welcoming and nice, but also it can be easy to fall into the idea that you have to wait for someone to invite you, or reach out, but that's why i'd say just go for it! Whatever club you wanna join, group you want to talk to, event you wanna go to, just DO IT.

Favorite class

I think my fall semester Philosophy Honors class with Prof.Kaufman. it was very small, all of about 10 people, and it made me remember how fun classes used to be where everyone gets to know each other, and help one another, and just share a space. It was nice, and felt very familiar and comforting in that way.

Career goals

My ideal life after college is being in a position to build lots of businesses that give back, and help people in a multitude of ways. Whether it be non-profits, or corporations that are centered around employing others, housing others, feeding others, etc. Just giving back and having a platform where i get to help others do that as well.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal night would start off with some sort of activity- maybe soccer, pickleball, golf, or even just playing pool or bowling with friends- then later going out to a jazz club or something with very loud music and a very cool atmosphere, getting back home around 1, taking a bath, throwing on an old Disney movie, and going to sleep.
