Describe your college experience
My transition and experience at Georgetown were good (except for a few bumps in the road). Some of my challenges were unique to my identity; however, I definitely overcame the challenges of being far from home and dealing with a much different course load. With perseverance, I overcame, and it has been overall great.
Tip for future students
I wish I had done some deeper research into the campus life (especially with the intense club culture at Georgetown) and the career expectations (aiming to have some kind of internship your freshman year summer!).
Favorite class
My favorite class was my first-year seminar titled "Self." We analyzed philosophical phenomena, injustices, and their real-world applications. The class expanded my worldview and transformed how I approached my college experience. I also made lifelong friends due to the class's close-knit environment and our shared learning experience.
Career goals
After college, I hope to go into consulting to expand my knowledge of different industries and get hands-on experience in the business world. From there, I plan to expand into one business sector.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I love to stay in on a free night. I'll invite my closest friends to my dorm, bake some cookies, and bond over our favorite TV show.
