I'm a member of MIT's oldest co ed a capella group, the Chorallaries. I am also involved with the the Tech Catholic Community, MIT's Every Nation Campus group, Concourse, and MIT music department as an Emerson Harris Scholar.

Describe your college experience

My transition to college was a little unique - I'm homeschooled, and had never been in a class of more than 10 people. However, I found that there were plenty of resources to help me adapt. I found that MIT has places for everyone, and you will definitely find people who connect with you.

Tip for future students

My biggest tip to students is to be realistic about your time and make sure you put enough time into the things you love. You won't have as much time in college as you think, especially MIT. Make sure you have one or two things you know to prioritize and stick to them.

Favorite class

So far I have mostly just taken the general institute requirements -calculus I and II, physics I and II, chemistry, and biology. However, I took them with Concourse, which had smaller class sizes and very passionate teachers who all knew me by name. I think physics II was my favorite, because of my professor.

Career goals

After college I hope to go to grad school for engineering.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love a night at the theater or at the movies, but I'm also partial to a night at home with a crochet project and a tv series to finish.
