Describe your college experience

My college experience started off rocky, mostly due to moving states and adjusting to a new environment. But I quickly made friends with others on my floor freshman year and started to feel comfortable at Georgetown. In the spring of that year, I joined the Corp, a student-run nonprofit chain of coffee shops, where I really found my footing. Then, in the first semester of my junior year, I studied abroad, an experience that changed my life and my perspective on the world.

Tip for future students

Attend office hours, get to know your professors, and find a club that you enjoy that is open entry.

Favorite class

Prisons and Punishment has been my favorite class because you get to learn about the ins and outs of the American incarceration system. Our TA's were formerly incarcerated individuals, some of whom were falsely accused.
