Junior at the University of Pittsburgh, very involved in Greek Life
Hi! I'm Olivia, a current junior at Pitt majoring in Sport History and Sociology. I am involved with many organizations across campus, and am an executive board member for my sorority, Alpha Epsilon Phi. I am from Delaware but have family from Pittsburgh which is part of what drew me to the school. My favorite things to do at Pitt are attend the football games and explore the city. Hail to Pitt!

Describe your college experience
Freshman year was a challenging adjustment socially, but participating in sorority recruitment was the best thing I could have done to improve my experience at Pitt. My closest friends have come from my sorority, and Greek Life overall makes the school feel smaller.
Tip for future students
In my time at Pitt, most professors have been very accessible, and building a relationship with them has attributed to my success in the classroom. I highly recommend asking questions, and going to office hours, even in big lecture classes (especially there). Learning how to balance social life and academics can be tough, but I learned there is a place for both at Pitt.
Favorite class
History of Sports with Rob Ruck. This class made me realize that I wanted to be a history major, and Rob made me realize that focuses on Sport History was possible. I learned so much and gained a life-long mentor from this class.
Career goals
I want to work in professional sports, hopefully from a philanthropic lens. I would love to be a philanthropic advisor for athletes or work in community outreach for a sports team.
Ideal way to spend a free night
If I have a free night, I like to hang out with my friends, which likely involves eating too many snacks and watching bad TV.
