I’m currently a junior studying health behavior science. I originally started off at Delaware State University and decided that it wasn’t the place for me. Ever since I’ve transitioned to University of Delaware I have been able to learn more than I ever expected and have had the chance to experience opportunities I never thought I would.

Describe your college experience
University of Delaware has provided me with endless opportunities to a better future . My time at UD has been nothing short of amazing . The school has prepared me for life after college and for that I’m extremely grateful.
Tip for future students
I recommend that new students take the time to really learn the campus and what it has to offer. Take the time to go to club and job interest meetings, stop and read the posters around campus, and attend dorm and campus events when possible. I would also recommend that students utilize the amazing library on campus and all of its resources.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been adapted physical education. I thoroughly enjoyed the class because it was very hands on. Not only that, but I admired how the school offered the opportunity for students to be able to work with children who have intellectual disabilities without micromanaging and taking the fun out of things.
Career goals
After I get my bachelors degree, i plan to pursue and masters and PHD in clinical psychology. Ideally I would like to eventually work in the forensic psychology field.

My ideal way to spend a free night is binge watching tv and eating snacks

Previous college
Delaware Technical Community College- My experience at Del Tech was better than expected. The campus was bigger than I thought and classes were smaller which allowed for more engagement from professors. Delaware State University - My time at DSU was terrible. I did not learn anything the time I spent there and the staff were unprofessional and I did not have a productive learning experience.
Favorite spot on campus
Morris Library! I LOVE how big and resourceful the library is.
