I transferred to UCF last year, and I'm majoring in Communications with a minor in Digital Media. Outside of classes, I love photography, creating content, working out, and spending time with friends. Describe your college experience

Transferring to UCF was definitely an adjustment at first, especially coming from a smaller school. It took some time to learn such a large campus and get used to a new environment, but each semester I've become more comfortable and confident. So far, my experience has been really positive. I've enjoyed getting to know the campus, taking classes I'm interested in, and meeting new people. As a transfer student, I understand how exciting and overwhelming the transition can be, and I'd love to help future students feel more comfortable and confident at UCF.

Tip for future students

One piece of advice I'd give future students is not to be afraid to ask questions. UCF is a big campus, and it can feel overwhelming at first, but there are so many people and resources available to help. I also wish I'd known that it's okay if it takes time to adjust and find your routine. Everyone's college experience is different, so don't compare yourself to others. Give yourself time to settle in and enjoy the process.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been my advertising class because we got to work with a real organization instead of just doing a regular class project. It felt like I was getting real world experience, and I also liked working in a group because I got to meet new people and hear different ideas.

Career goals

After college, I hope to work in a creative role where I can combine marketing, content creation, and design. I'd love to work with brands and help create campaigns that connect with people while continuing to grow my skills and gain new experiences.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal free night is spending time with friends, whether that's grabbing dinner or going out together. I also enjoy going to the gym, so a good workout before hanging out is the perfect balance for me.

High school or secondary school

For high school, I went to Monarch in Coconut Creek, Florida, my freshman year, and then I did the rest of my high school at Coral Glades High School in Coral Springs, Florida.

Previous college

I transferred from Palm Beach State College in Boca Raton, Florida. Transferring to UCF was a big change at first because of how large the campus is, but it ended up being a smooth transition. It took a little time to get comfortable, but I've really enjoyed my experience so far.
