Describe your college experience
I come from a tiny town in the valley with a graduating class of 13, and transitioning to a major university was a huge change. I made amazing friends, and got to experience completely new things. So far I think my experience at UCSC is going amazing.
Tip for future students
I wish I knew to be more extroverted, I came into UCSC slightly closed off and nervous(which is totally normal), but I wish I coulda have pursued more people, everyone I’m friends with now are amazing, but I think about how many more people I would be friends with if I put myself out there. Another tip I would share for future students is to participate in clubs, organizations, or even sports. UCSC has great clubs and organizations, I wish I participated in more clubs or organizations as a first year, but I can only change that from here on out.
Favorite class
One of my favorite classes has to have been precalculus, pre calculus itself was honestly is not what Im particularly talking about, the professor Bob was the reason the class was so enjoyable, he made the class fun, and easy to balance. Bob made students want to come to class and participate.
Career goals
After college I plan to extend my education with a masters, but after further education, I hope to have a career in investigation, or criminal psychology.
Ideal way to spend a free night
An ideal free night for me would involve playing pool, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. Realistically I would be finishing up school work, laundry, and cleaning.
