Describe your college experience
My transition from high school to college was a little rocky due to the fact that no one in my family attended college, however I was quickly able to get into a nice routine and began to learn and manage how to get through college. I had a lot of different professors and each of them has shaped how I go about my studies. Dorm life was not as an easy transition, but I made it work and gained two new really close friends because of it!
Tip for future students
Be prepared to walk a lot and take longer bus rides all throughout the college and downtown! And always make sure you pack small things that you won't think of until you get here! Like scissors!
Favorite class
My favorite class I've taken here would definitely have to be my field study course I took fall quarter. We got to go on camping trips and explore all around multiple times within 10 weeks! I learned so many new skills and gained so many friends from it. My professor was amazing and the kindest and most knowledgeable person ever. I would def take a field course again and recommend it even if it doesn't apply to your major!
Career goals
I hope to do research regarding conservation of species, specifically those of the marine sorts and work/own my own aquarium! I would also love to teach little kids about the marine world and what they can do to help with the conservation cause that I much needed right now. I both love the ocean and life within it and teaching children, so why not put them together!
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is going to the dinning hall with my roommates and friends and then coming back to our dorm and playing roblox together until it's time to go to bed! Getting all cosy in our pjs and just spending quality time together when we are all finally free!
