I transferred from Tufts University, so I have a unique perspective on both navigating a new campus and making the most of everything Cornell has to offer. Describe your college experience

Transferring to Cornell was a big transition, but it pushed me to get involved quickly and find my people. I co-founded a student organization, got involved in the computer science​/​tech space, and landed a course assistant role all within my first year. Cornell rewards curiosity and initiative, and once you find your footing, it's an incredible place to grow and build a strong foundation for both academic and career success

Tip for future students

Get involved early and don't be afraid to reach out to professors, upperclassmen, and club leaders. Cornell can feel overwhelming at first, but everyone is more approachable than they seem, and the connections you make early will carry you through. Most importantly, focus on yourself and don't let others dictate who you are and who you want to be

Favorite class

My favorite class so far has been AEM 2601 - Strategy. It changed the way I think about decision-making and pushed me to consider problems from multiple angles, which has been useful far beyond the classroom.

Career goals

I hope to work at the intersection of business, data analytics, and space technology, eventually contributing to aerospace missions at a company or agency like NASA. Long-term, I plan to pursue a Master's in Data Science to deepen my technical expertise.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Cooking or baking something new, drawing on Procreate, or hanging out with friends over good food, ideally all three.

Previous college

I transferred from Tufts University, where I studied Mathematics and Computer Science for one year. But I wanted a program that better aligned with my interests in business, data, and astronomy, and Cornell's experiential and diverse academic programs were the perfect fit. The process was challenging but pushed me to step outside my comfort and take the necessary steps for my goals.
