Second-Year Student Studying Cinema & Media Studies @ UW
Hi! I'm Constantine. I'm a student at the University of Washington Seattle Campus, and I'm excited to help tour the campus with new faces. I felt like I learned a lot from being toured, and I wanted share that with others, in hopes that they find their own way, too.

Describe your college experience
My transition to college felt scary, but it helped that I had help from tour people and upperclassmen, and I found communities that fostered my interest. So put yourself out there!
Tip for future students
I think just be diligent in finding what you want to do early. I missed out on some really good opportunities my first year, so definitely be sure to pay attention to things that interest you. My advice is for to check for club deadlines on the club's social media, or to have your UW notifications open for classes.
Favorite class
In my freshman year, I took CMS 271 (Perspectives on Film: Great Directors) which focused on David Lynch and it was super interesting to find some movies that feel far different than most! We also got to write and have very in-depth discussions about the movies we watched
Career goals
To be a filmmaker, actor, or playwright! Movies and Theater have been my passion since high school, and I want the art I make to inspire people.
Ideal way to spend a free night
If you finish your homework, maybe hang out with friends! It's always good to foster connection. I recommend spending time in the HUB (Husky Union Building) or check out events by clubs or other organizations.
High school or secondary school
Eastlake High School, in Sammamish, WA.
Meeting point
The Statue of George Washington
