Describe your college experience

I followed family alumni to UW, and was a general admit to the school. I spent my first year in the dorms, taking the courses necessary to then apply to the business school. Once I was admitted there, I studied abroad in Australia for about half a year. I joined a fraternity, but then it dissolved and I kept pursuing a double major. Overall, I am pretty happy with the environment surrounding UW, and had an amazing time studying abroad. I wish I got more involved with specific clubs and organizations, but nonetheless I am happy with the people I have met and the opportunities that have been presented to me.

Tip for future students

Freshman year may be the most important year, as it is the time to explore your interests, meet new people, and take advantage of as many opportunities as you can.

Favorite class

MKTG 445, Multicultural Marketing and Business Development was my favorite class because I got to combine lessons with real experience by being part of a consulting team for a local company.

Career goals

I want to do two things: meet people who are involved in the fields I'm interested in and also travel throughout the US and abroad.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Hanging out with my friends, which might look like playing a game or sport, or going out in the city.
