Describe your college experience

My transition to college was definitely a learning experience. Coming to NYU meant adjusting to a fast-paced environment, balancing academics with personal responsibilities, and figuring out what I was truly passionate about. I eventually transferred to Gallatin, where I'm creating my own major focused on Information Technology Studies. That experience taught me that it's okay if your path changes along the way. So far, my college experience has helped me become more independent, open-minded, and confident in pursuing my goals.

Tip for future students

Don't feel pressured to have everything figured out right away. College is a time to explore different interests, meet new people, and discover what excites you. Also, take advantage of the opportunities NYU offers—whether that's clubs, networking events, campus jobs, or simply exploring New York City. Step outside your comfort zone because that's where a lot of growth happens.

Favorite class

One of my favorite classes has been related to technology and problem-solving because it connected with my interest in IT and cybersecurity. I enjoy classes that challenge me to think critically and learn practical skills that I can apply outside the classroom. They've reinforced my passion for working in the tech field in the future.

Career goals

After college, I hope to build a career in information technology and cybersecurity. I'm currently expanding my knowledge through coursework and certifications, and I want to work in a role where I can solve problems, help others, and continue learning as technology evolves.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal free night depends on my mood. Sometimes it's exploring the city with friends, trying new food spots, or just walking around Manhattan. Other times, I enjoy relaxing at home, gaming, watching a good show, or learning something new related to technology and cybersecurity. I like having a balance between social time and downtime.

Smooth communication and adjusted the tour according to our requests, very friendly and responsive, took us to various buildings that my kid interested in, especially the department my kid plan to apply for. Great experience with Farhan, strongly recommend.
