Describe your college experience

Coming to Brown, I was definitely overwhelmed. I remember standing on the main green at the club fair looking at hundreds of tables and having no idea where to start. However, over the past three years, I've found amazing communities through the organizations I joined. It has been an incredible experience for me that has helped me grow both personally and academically

Tip for future students

It is completely normal to feel overwhelmed when you first arrive on campus, everything is new and it feels like everyone around you has it all figured out. But absolutely everyone is in the same boat. Take things one day at a time, and don't be afraid to ask for help!

Favorite class

Although I don't have one single favorite course, what I have loved most as I've gotten further into my concentration is how the classroom dynamic changes. As you move into advanced, upper-level classes, the class sizes get significantly smaller. It transitions from large lectures to tight-knit seminars where you really get to know everyone in your cohort and build meaningful relationships with both your peers and the professors.

Career goals

I hope to go to Medical school and ultimately become a pediatrician

Ideal way to spend a free night

At Brown, there are so many people pursuing unique interests. Because of that, it's so easy to find a group for whatever you're looking for on a free night. Whether you want to dress up and go out, lock yourself in a study room, or just have a fun and relaxing night in, there is always someone who wants to join you.
