Describe your college experience
Coming to Berkeley, I experienced a lot of firsts! I used my freshman year to explore classes, clubs, and communities on campus and was lucky enough to meet people I’ve made lasting connections with. I’ve learned a lot about myself and others during my time here and am so grateful for every adventure!
Tip for future students
Don’t be afraid to explore! I came here with the intention of studying wildlife ecology, but through exploring different classes, clubs, and help from my peers, I realized I wanted to pivot. There are so many different kinds of experiences to be had here, so branch out :)
Favorite class
I really liked our introduction to physics series (Physics 8A/B). The class was incredibly interactive, and I enjoyed the lab portions the most. Being able to apply the challenging concepts we were learning in lab was so satisfying!
Career goals
After college, I hope to be an Environmental Health Specialist.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I like to go out around Berkeley and get food with friends. There’s a lot of great places to eat around campus and in neighboring cities.
