Describe your college experience
I've absolutely loved Michigan. I had it pretty easy because I came in with a ton of friends from high school, as well as Grand Rapids overall. Despite that, I really tried to branch out and become friends with as many people as possible, including a "try everything" mentality, which increased my confidence and made me feel like I made the most of my underclassman years. Although engineering has been tough, I've been able to get through with better time management skills, and increased knowledge.
Tip for future students
The housing is insane in Ann Arbor. I would recommend looking for housing ASAP, even October or late September of freshman year for off campus options.
Favorite class
CEE 421 - Hydrology with professor Ivanov was a really interesting class. I've never done hydrology before, and although the content was tough, I found it really rewarding and applicable to real life scenarios.
Career goals
I would like to do sustainable construction with an emphasis on hydraulic systems.
Ideal way to spend a free night
When I'm not studying my butt off, I love going out with my friends, spending quality time with my girlfriend, watching anime, reading
