Describe your college experience

My college experience truly has been excellent. I have really enjoyed being at NYU and meeting people from across the world. NYU is very different from what I was used to in suburban Georgia, but going into it with an open mind and ready for new experiences made the transition easy. NYU definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone, but it helped me grow into the person I am today.

Tip for future students

NYU is not going to be like going to your local state school. Going to a large private school in a city like NYC means you are immediately dropped into an environment with people from across the world and extremely diverse backgrounds. This means that it is crucial to have an open mind and show up on the first day ready to be immersed in a world that could be completely different from what you are used to.

Favorite class

My favorite class, which I took in my sophomore year, was on radical European politics. This class changed my perspective on multiple issues and challenged me to reevaluate my understanding of European history.

Career goals

I am working in consulting after graduation.
