Jessica is a junior majoring in Psychology and Sociology on the pre-law track with minors in Deaf Studies, Urban Studies, and Women and Gender Studies. She is from Denver, Colorado and enjoys beekeeping, along with visiting museums. She is passionate about pursuing criminal justice law with the hopes of influencing a chain reaction within the justice system and truncating the effects of generational incarceration. Outside of the classroom, she serves as the Vice President of Correspondence for the CAS Dean’s Hosts, the Vice President of Deaf Studies Club, and the Treasurer of BU Business Law Club.

My transition to college was especially difficult because I moved so far from home, but I was able to find an amazing and supportive community at BU which has made me absolutely love my experience here!

Get involved with as many student organizations you can!
Favorite class
Psychopathology! It was such an insightful way to understand different types of therapies and what practicing would look like.
Career goals
I plan to attend law school after college! I strive to pursue a career in criminal justice.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Going to museums or checking out the restuarants around campus! I also enjoy going to concerts.
