Hook 'Em with Eshal - Your UT Austin Tour Guide
Hi, I'm Eshal, a UT junior. I enjoy meeting new people and welcoming them to hotspots around campus and ensuring they leave as in love with UT as I am. In addition to class, I like watching the sunset around the Tower, getting coffee on Guad Street, and cheering at games.

Describe your college experience
Coming into college at UT Austin was exciting and somewhat intimidating, the campus was massive, and I just wanted to make my impact. Before long, I learned to make the most of it, from rushing Delta Phi Omega Sorority, Inc. to running for leadership positions and taking an intensive course load as a Neuroscience pre-major. With every semester, I have made lasting relationships, found optimal study areas, and figured out how to juggle course work and campus experience. UT has made me the best me I can be, and given me an actual feeling of home.
Tip for future students
My best advice to future students is to listen to developing good friendships and relationships, these are the things that will help you and make your college years richer. And don't be shy about talking to your professors and getting them to know who you are through office hours, it's the initiative that counts and going after it can actually help you do well in your classes.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been Introduction to Neuroscience because I enjoy studying about how our brain enables us to move. It’s surprising the manner by which all parts of the brain work together for us to be able to move and perform even the least complex things up to complex movements. It’s made me realize just how wonderful our bodies are.
Career goals
After college, I aspire to get into medical sales, where I'll combine my passion for science and business. I aspire to be capable of providing health care providers with convenient access to the latest medical technologies and medical products to enable improved patient care. Through my neuroscience major, I have a strong medical background, and with my business minor, I am confident that I can articulate well and establish good relations.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I like to spend my free nights with friends, exploring new spots, or just relaxing and painting. I also love swimming, its a great way to clear my mind after a busy day.
