Describe your college experience
Starting off can be very overwhelming, but pushing yourself to try new things and meet new people is important! Don't close yourself off to new opportunities because this place will open doors you didn't even know existed. I've enjoyed my experience so far, and I credit that to this mindset.
Tip for future students
Again, push yourself! At a school like UCLA it's easy to blend into the crowd, so it's up to you to seek out opportunities and find the spaces on campus that make this place so special. If I had to be specific, I'd say attend all the events during the week before classes - soooo many people skip and then regret it later!
Favorite class
COMM 188C - NLP for Social Science This was a class on AI and its application to the social sciences. The professor was great and opened my eyes to the world of research, which I'm now involved in.
Career goals
I'm in the process of applying to law school!
Ideal way to spend a free night
Playing cards with friends (and winning, hopefully)
High school or secondary school
Thousand Oaks High School
Previous college
Moorpark College - great experience, would highly recommend the transfer route for anyone considering it! I was able to get involved and build a community there.
