Describe your college experience
It was a long way from home so the first few weeks were a little difficult. However, once I became comfortable and no longer homesick, my experience became amazing. It’s easy to make friends and their are so many clubs/activities to get involved in.
Tip for future students
Don’t let fear get in the way of making new friends. It can be intimidating but try to be as outgoing as possible because it’s easier to make friends that way. It’s also extremely normal to want to cry about missing home the entire first week. It does get better though!
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been UK 101 because the class includes other students with a similar major to you. The teacher informs you on so many different UK tips and tricks.
Career goals
I hope to become a high school English teacher and then work my way up to a professor.
Ideal way to spend a free night
There are a few ways I would spend a free night. I love to have a night in and watch movies or play games with my friends, but I love going out and having fun with friends in Lexington.
