Describe your college experience
My college experience at the University of Alabama has been exciting, challenging, and full of growth. I’ve met amazing people, got involved on campus, and learned a lot about myself along the way. Being part of such a spirited and supportive community has truly made a difference. The transition to college was a mix of nerves and excitement. At first, it was a little overwhelming adjusting to the pace and independence, but getting involved in campus activities and leaning on support systems really helped me feel at home.
Tip for future students
Don’t be afraid to ask for help and get involved early! Whether it’s joining a student organization, going to office hours, or just exploring campus, the more you engage, the more you’ll get out of your experience. I wish I had known sooner that everyone is figuring things out too—so give yourself grace and take it one step at a time!
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been Physiology 101. It gave me a deeper understanding of how the human body works, which really sparked my passion for physical therapy. The material was challenging but exciting, and it helped confirm that I’m on the right path toward my career goals.
Career goals
After college, I hope to become a physical therapist. I’m passionate about helping people recover and live healthier lives, and I’m excited to continue learning about the human body, mobility, and patient care as I move forward with my career.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is relaxing with friends, maybe watching a movie, grabbing food around town, or just enjoying some quiet time listening to music or journaling. It’s all about unwinding and recharging after a busy day!
High school or secondary school
I attended Jackson-Olin High School in Birmingham, Alabama.
