Describe your college experience
So far, my experience at the University of Kentucky has been extremely rewarding. I have found a supportive community through campus organizations and have grown both academically and personally. I’m grateful for the opportunities to learn, meet great people, and get involved in causes I care about.
Tip for future students
Take time to get involved early and explore different clubs and activities! It really helps you feel connected and makes the campus feel like a home away from home. Also, don’t be afraid to ask for help or advice; everyone at the University of Kentucky wants to see you succeed.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been Public Health Through Popular Film (CPH202) because it offers a unique way to explore important health topics through movies and media. It was engaging and thought-provoking, helping me understand public health issues in a real-world context while making learning fun and relatable.
Career goals
After college, I hope to work as an occupational therapist, helping people improve their daily lives and regain independence. I want to combine my passion for public health and disability studies to make a meaningful difference in my community.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal free night involves enjoying a sweet treat with friends or taking a walk to unwind and have meaningful conversations. It is a great way to relax and recharge amidst a busy college schedule.
